C’mon now, say it with me.
Riiiiiiiiigggghhhhttt!!!!
Apparently, some delusional preacher in the South, Denton, Texas specifically, decided to speak and someone was listening. Pity that.
So, what did this “genius” have to say? Oh, not a lot really. Just that
“One reason that men abuse their wives is because women rebel against their husband’s God-given authority”
And that’s why I can never move to Texas. Even though Houston seems to be a lovely city by all accounts.

Surely you have heard the news by now. Madonna is getting a divorce. It was reported months ago. She denied it. And now it looks like it is true. Poor Madonna. Sucks for her and her family.

As a strong Hillary supporter, I am not at all happy with Obama as my option in November. I was holding out hope for Hillary to run 3rd party. Then she endorsed Obama. And now on Friday she appeared with him on the campaign trail. What a letdown. The less qualified male won, yet again. Amazing that I was expecting anything different for an outcome.

A while back, before Obama got the required number of delegates, I had sent an email to the DNC. I wanted to voice my opinion on why I did not think Obama could get elected and how I had too much to lose if Hillary was not the nominee.
Apparently, the DNC takes the fact that you are sending them an email as an open opportunity to sign you up for their email newsletter. I did not agree to be on their email spam list. I just wanted to give them my two cents.
Today I got another email from the DNC so I looked for the ‘unsubscribe’ link. I clicked on it and was taken to a page to confirm it and to leave a comment as to why I was unsubscribing. Having not learned a lesson about what happens when you give the DNC your two cents, I left a comment. I told them how I was a life-long Democrat and that I did not approve of the way the Democratic party had treated Hillary Clinton and that I did not trust Obama enough to vote for him. I then told them that I would be voting for McCain in the general election. And then I hit them with the zinger that I am in Ohio. Muah hahahaha. Of course, it will likely fall on deaf ears.
Then I got annoyed because unsubscribing was not that easy. I had to wait for a confirmation code to be emailed to me and then I had to put that in the website. DNC - you suck!
Will I vote for McCain? It depends on what happens between now and then. If McCain gets in office, I know what he will do. If Obama gets in office, I have no idea what he will do - and that scares me.
I’m hoping for some kind of 11th hour resurrection of Hillary Clinton.

Martha Stewart has some business meetings set up in the UK. But she’s having a little problem with her trip planning. They don’t want to let her in the country!
Martha Stewart has been denied entry to Britain because of her 2004 U.S. conviction for lying about a stock sale.
Apparently, her presence in the United Kingdom is not conducive to the public good. What douchebags. Seriously.

I just came across the story I mentioned earlier. Apparently, there are about four pregnancies a year at the school. And this year there are 17!!
And sadly, none of the girls are over age 16. It even mentions that one of the fathers is a 24 year old homeless guy. It’s just sad. You can read the story here.

Well, apparently Jamie Lynn Spears had her baby yesterday. For those interested, it was a girl. Frankly, I didn’t realize it was time for her to have the baby.
I was told yesterday about a news story out of Massachusetts. Apparently there is a school with something like 17 girls that are pregnant. Come to find out they all made some kind of pact to get pregnant and have kids at the same time. I can’t help but wonder if that sort of thing is fueled by irresponsible celebs like Jamie Lynn Spears.

I am a big fan of the Nintendo Wii. And I plan on getting myself a Wii Fit as soon as I can. Of course, I thought that exercise was all you could do with the Wii Fit. Apparently not. There is a rumored Spider-Man game that will supposedly work with the balance board. Pretty cool huh? Now I just gotta get me one!

How is this for odd, politically speaking that is?
Michelle Obama praises Laura Bush. That was the headline I saw. Apparently Michelle was saying she was grateful that first lady Laura Bush came to her defense. This happened after she was harshly criticized by Republicans for her February comment that for the first time in her adult life she was proud of the United States.
Interesting, yes?

I read something interesting. People are wondering where Hillary Clinton is. She has made no appearances since that speech. So, she endorsed Obama and that was it. Now she is no where to be seen. So I have to wonder - what is she up to?
I am still holding out hope that she runs 3rd party.
