I don’t watch reality shows. And I don’t pay a lot of attention to the things that celebrities say. But sometimes celebs say something so stupid that you just can’t miss it. And the most recent case of that is Brooke Hogan. She is the daughter of Hulk Hogan. And I think she had a pop album out a while back.
Apparently little Brookie things that women should not be in politics. In fact, here is her full stupid quote…
You know what? I am actually not that much into voting. I think it’s kinda crazy that a woman is running, because I think that women deal with a lot of emotions and menopause and PMS and stuff. Like, I’m so moody all the time, I know I couldn’t be able to run a country, ’cause I’d be crying one day and yelling at people the next day, ya know?

Have you seen those commercials on TV for credit report monitoring? You know the ones, right? They feature a guy, usually singing, and another guy with him. The most annoying one is the one where he is in a seafood restaurant. But I saw a new one the other day. It talks about how he had good credit. Then he married a girl with bad credit. And now his credit is shot. And he is left working a crappy job. I’m not sure what the job has to do with anything. But the clear message is that the bad credit issues are all the woman’s fault. As if.

Did you see the above headline on Yahoo today? I saw it and could not believe it! I mean, child abuse, really? If that was the case then my parents would have been serious abusers! I am from the South. So, my dad would get one of those skinny little tree limbs for spanking. You know, the kind that would leave little red marks on your hiney!

If you have kids, then you likely worry about what they are listening to when it comes to music. If that is the case then you need to know about a summer concert tour. It is the Disney Music Block Party Tour.
It is part festival part concert. And it is something the whole family can enjoy.
There will be some live musical performances by They Might Be Giants, Imagination Movers, Barenaked Ladies, Dan Zanes, Ralph’s World, and Choo Choo Soul. And Raven-Symone is hosting most of the stops.

Angelina Jolie has had her twins. Early reports stated that she had given birth to two girls. Now official reports state otherwise.
She gave birth to one girl and one boy. And thankfully she did not give them crazy names like a lot of celebs.
Angelina named the boy Knox Leon. And she named the girl Vivienne Marcheline. What a beautiful name!

Jennifer Hudson has been in the spotlight for a while now. People know what she looks like. That is why it is so ridiculous that they Photoshopped her new album cover. In case you have not seen it, I have put it below.
Apparently she was on the BET awards last month and was nowhere near this size. Why does the entertainment industry insist on being body image police? And why didn’t Jennifer stand up for herself since she always proclaims to be proud of her body?

Well, this is certainly interesting. I just read that Planned Parenthood has endorsed Barack Obama. If course, their options are a bit limited. I think that neither of them are really good options. And I honestly do not know who would be better in protecting women’s right to choose. I know – Hillary! Too bad she is out

The Crocodile Hunter’s daughter Bindi Irwin is a celeb in her own right. It was not long after her father’s death that she was appearing all over the TV. I remember seeing her once singing and dancing on the Today show. Well, now she has something else to add to her resume. There is now going to be a doll based on her likeness! It will be a 10-inch talking doll and priced around $20.

Are you a big Bath & Body Works fan like me? I love their stuff but I hate their prices. That is why I wait around for sales. And right now is one of those killer sales. All of the signature collection items are $5 through Sunday. And they have a ton of gift baskets that are 50% off. And they even have some items that are 75% off. Most of these are the discontinued lines. Looks like Chocolate Amber is on the discontinued list. So was Tropical Passion Fruit. Be sure to stop by your store if you like to buy their stuff on sale. They even had a bunch of wallflowers on sale at my local store!
