You know, I like a lot of different kinds of foods. And it seems that I am trying out new foods all of the time. In fact, I did not ever eat broccoli until I was about 20 years old. Can you believe that? Seafood is another thing that I never ate when I was growing up that I absolutely love to eat now. It is almost as if I am trying to make up for all of that lost time as I want to try out new and different seafood dishes all of the time. That is why I was interested in the Great American Seafood cook off recipe contest. You can find out more about it at www.GreatAmericanSeafoodCookOff.com. I was pretty excited to see what people would come up with for new and exciting seafood recipes for this cook off. Well, now it is out and it is down to five final recipes that you can check out. All you need to do is head on over to the web page for the contest to be able to see the five recipes that you can choose from and vote on. It was not too hard for me to choose a favorite as I just love me some shrimp and one of the recipes has shrimp and tomatoes in it and it just sounds plain yummy to me! The recipe for the Texas Gulf Shrimp is the one that sounds the best for me. You will want to have a look at it too if you are into seafood and like to eat shrimp as well. It sounds super duper tasty if you ask me. I really like the idea of the tomato relish. I am not too experimental in the kitchen so I cannot say that I would change anything in the recipe. This recipe was done by chef Mark Holley from Texas. If you like to eat seafood you should know about the benefits of using domestic seafood in your recipes. Not only is it super fresh, but it is local and has an awesome taste! So that is definitely something to remember for those recipes. And if you want to try to win a trip to New Orleans then you need to visit the Great American Seafood site and vote for your fave recipe - that enters you for a chance to win a New Orleans prize package. So be sure to check that out today!

I hate it when women bash one another. And then it is worse when it is celebs that do it in public. The latest instance of this? Roseanne Barr is the culprit. And Angelina Jolie was her target.
So, are you wondering what she said? Well, here it is.
“Jon Voight, your evil spawn Angelina Jolie and her vacuous hubby Brad Pitt make about $40 million a year in violent psychopathic movies and give away ($3 million) of it to starving children trying to look as if they give a crap about humanity, as they spit out more dunces that will consume more than their fair share and wreck the Earth even more.
Why, Roseanne, why?

Are you one of those people that likes to look up the IP Address of people that leave comments on your blog or on message boards that you frequent. I do that some time. What is cool about looking up an IP Address is that you can figure out where someone is using their computer from just looking at their IP address. But it can be hard to interpret that at times. That is why I think that IP2Location is a great new tool! You see, IP2Location is basically just a geolocation look up database that can be used to reverse translate IP address to get the location info. And if that sounds pretty cool to you then you should have a look at the free demo and webmaster tools that they are offering. You can find it at: http://www.ip2location.com/demo.aspx
You will also want to check out the new DB15-DB18 packages. You see, they actually consist of the IDD code, area code, weather station name and weather station code. So that is pretty cool too.

Wow, talk about a shocker! Just this year I saw Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones in Columbus, Ohio. She was at a rally for Hillary Clinton. She looked just fine. And then today I read on Yahoo that she is dead. You can read the shocking story for yourself. It is: US Rep. Tubbs Jones of Ohio dies after hemorrhage. How tragic!

Woo, hoo! I am pretty stoked about this news. They are going to let Hillary Clinton’s name be included in the floor vote at the Democratic Convention. The convention takes place next week in Denver. It is pretty exciting. However, I doubt anything will come of it. But I can hope, right?

I was really stoked about politics this time last year. I had the tv on CNN all the time. Now, I rarely have it on at all. Why is that? Well, they have really lost my interest. I just can’t get behind Obama. And that is a big part of it. I will watch though when Hillary speaks at the convention. Even if it is not the speech I want it to be.
