Food makers are charging you more for cheaper ingredients
Apparently, food makers like Hershey Co. and General Mills just aren’t making enough money off you. So, they’re doing something about it. They are changing the ingredients in the foods they sell you. They are using cheaper things – like vegetable oil instead of cocoa butter in chocolate and dairy substitutes in dairy products. And they aren’t telling you about. Instead they are raising prices. I’m not surprised. I don’t even eat Hersheys chocolate anymore. They just make it sweeter and sweeter to try to hide that it tastes as bad as it is cheap.
Go to your Whole Foods, Trader Joes, etc etc… and get real chocolate and/or food for not much more. When you consider that corporations in China are using Melamine to mimic protein, that its TOXIC, and who knows how many American companies are buying cheap ingredients from them… it really makes sense to go back to Organic rated foods, local farmer markets, etc…
