It has been more than a decade since Yolanda Saldivar murdered Selena Quintanilla Perez. At the time, Selena was the undisputed queen of Tejano music. Her death, at age 23, was both unexpected and tragic. She was killed by Saldivar, her fan club president.
After Selena’s death, her English language crossover album, “Dreaming of You,†went on to sell 300,000 copies in its first week.
It was recently learned that her family is releasing, with Mexican variety show host Johnny Canales, a DVD of Selena’s performances on the “The Johnny Canales Show.â€
There is a lot of buzz on the web about MMA’s Gina Carano. There was a fight tonight. It was Gina Carano vs. Kelly Kobold. And she had to get nude three times to make the 141 weight limit.
She weighed in at 142.75 pounds on her first attempt. After removing all of her clothes, a towel-covered Carano weighed in a second time at 142.5 pounds. On her third attempt Carano weighed 141 pounds. Of course men are salivating all over the web about this story. There are even videos and .gifs of someone dropping one of the towels. Tell me that wasn’t on purpose!

Well, the Palin-Biden debate is over. Sadly it is the only VP debate we will see. How do you think Sarah Palin did? She seemed a but nervous at first to me. A lot of the news stories about the VP debate have something in common. They are all talking about the Palin wink. I saw it and remarked about it instantly. When the debate was over I noticed that it was already up on YouTube. You can see it in the clip below. I have to wonder though why she does it? Does she realize she is doing it? It is on purpose? Is she just trying to charm voters? And will Tina Fey be on SNL winking at American this weekend?
Well, the night is here. Tonight is the first and only VP debate. It begins at 8pm CST on CNN. And it will be Sarah Palin and Joe Biden. I can’t wait to see how Palin does. She has had a rough week. So it will be interesting to see how it turns out for her.
