I was stuck by a story on Yahoo about Kanye West and some comments he made. The man seems like a total douche. Apparently he took some verbal shots at Justin Timberlake. And whether you like JT or not, you can’t deny that he is insanely talented. Kanye went on to call himself “the voice of this generation.” Riiiight. Cocky much?

There are few television shows on the major networks that are women-centric. And when there are it seems like they do not last too long. Remember Women’s Murder Club from last season? Well, one of this season’s casualties is Lipstick Jungle. The Brooke Shields fronted show was canceled yesterday. And it was still not clear whether all the episodes that have been shot for the series will be used.

Tina Fey is done with her appearance as Sarah Palin on SNL. And Amy Poehler is off to have kids. So that leaves SNL down some women. They have added two new women to the mix. They have added Abby Elliott and Michaela Watkins to the cast. Elliott and Watkins will make their debuts this weekend.

I found it odd that Barack Obama did not thank the Clinton’s in his speech last week. It was clearly a public snubbing. And today I read that Michelle Obama needs Hillary’s help? (link) Apparently she called her to ask about raising the kids in the White House and away from the media. And Hillary is gladly offering her help. Even though she will likely get no thanks for it.

There is a new interview with Lindsay Lohan. And, well, it is kind of odd. Here is the part I want to point out:
While Samantha is the first woman Lindsay has admitted to dating publicly, when asked if she had previously “been with a girl” by Harper’s, the actress replied, “I don’t know, maybe.”
Lindsay said she does not consider herself a lesbian, but as for whether she thinks of herself as bisexual, she told the magazine, “maybe.”
“I don’t want to classify myself,” she continued. “First of all, you never know what’s going to happen — tomorrow, in a month, a year from now, five years from now. I appreciate people, and it doesn’t matter who they are, and I feel blessed to be able to feel comfortable enough with myself that I can say that.”
Hrm.
#1 - “Maybe” she’s been with a girl before? As in before Sam Ronson? There is no maybe, unless we are talking about a tranny.
#2 - Not a lesbian, even though she has “maybe” been with other girls?
#3 - Translation: I don’t want to hurt my career by being labeled gay.

A lot of sites ran with the story that Megan Fox had been cast in the Wonder Woman movie. Not so. Apparently this was just a hoax of an overzealous fanboy or fangirl. Seems a website appeared that unveiled Fox as Wonder Woman. It also feature logos of all of the companies involved in the movie. In short, it appeared legit. What it was however was fancy Photoshop skills. I say, Thank Goodness! Megan Fox could never pull off Wonder Woman! Charisma Carpenter is the way to go with this one. I think she was born to play Wonder Woman.

As we all know by now, McCain lost the US presidential election. And there is a lot of blame going on. As expected most of the blame is being sent Sarah Palin’s way. But is she really to blame? She energized the Republican party when she was picked. Or is she just the easy scapegoat? Regardless, she does not deserve it.

Well, it is over. The election season has finally come to an end. And the result is a new democratic president. What can I say? Only that I wish it were Hillary. And I hope he can deliver what everyone seems to think he can. But I just don’t know. And, frankly, I can’t believe he did not mention her in his speech last night. She has worked tirelessly for him and this is the thanks she gets?
