Looks like current First Lady Laura Bush has gotten herself a book deal. Scribner is who will be publishing the book. They are an imprint of Simon & Schuster publishing.

The price of the deal has not been leaked to the press yet. So no one knows how much she is making as an advance for the book deal. The estimated the price for Mrs. Bush’s memoir is at $3.5 million to $5 million.

The book is described by Laura Bush to cover “events and people I’ve  met in my life, particularly during my years in the White House.”

Don’t get too excited about reading it though. It is not expected to be published until sometime in 2010.
