Martha Stewart has some business meetings set up in the UK. But she’s having a little problem with her trip planning. They don’t want to let her in the country!
Martha Stewart has been denied entry to Britain because of her 2004 U.S. conviction for lying about a stock sale.
Apparently, her presence in the United Kingdom is not conducive to the public good. What douchebags. Seriously.

I just came across the story I mentioned earlier. Apparently, there are about four pregnancies a year at the school. And this year there are 17!!
And sadly, none of the girls are over age 16. It even mentions that one of the fathers is a 24 year old homeless guy. It’s just sad. You can read the story here.

Well, apparently Jamie Lynn Spears had her baby yesterday. For those interested, it was a girl. Frankly, I didn’t realize it was time for her to have the baby.
I was told yesterday about a news story out of Massachusetts. Apparently there is a school with something like 17 girls that are pregnant. Come to find out they all made some kind of pact to get pregnant and have kids at the same time. I can’t help but wonder if that sort of thing is fueled by irresponsible celebs like Jamie Lynn Spears.

I am a big fan of the Nintendo Wii. And I plan on getting myself a Wii Fit as soon as I can. Of course, I thought that exercise was all you could do with the Wii Fit. Apparently not. There is a rumored Spider-Man game that will supposedly work with the balance board. Pretty cool huh? Now I just gotta get me one!

Amazon Bookstore Coop is without a doubt one of the country’s oldest feminist bookstores. That is why it is painful to report that they will be closing the doors at the end of June.
The news was announced by the owners on Thursday.
The store was founded on the front porch of a women’s collective in Minneapolis in 1970. And it has moved around the city several times since then.
Amazon Bookstore Coop made headlines in 1999 when it sued online book retailer Amazon.com for trademark infringement. After going to trial, the two parties subsequently settled, with Amazon.com paying Amazon Bookstore Coop an undisclosed amount.

Danica Patrick became the first female winner in IndyCar history Sunday. This is because she took the Indy Japan 300 after the top contenders were forced to pit for fuel in the final laps.
Patrick finished 5.8594 seconds ahead of pole-sitter Helio Castroneves on the 1.5-mile Twin Ring Motegi oval after leader Scott Dixon pitted with five laps left and Dan Wheldon and Tony Kanaan came in a lap later.
The 26-year-old Patrick won in her 50th career IndyCar start. She took the lead from Castroneves on the 198th lap in the 200-lap race.

Have you heard about this new website? It is called Miss Bimbo. And apparently it is targeting girls between the ages of 7 and 17. The website bills itself as a ‘game.’ And the game is to make yourself the best bimbo. And you do things like give yourself breast implants. It should be no shocker that a 23 year old male runs the site. What a douche.

Italy is known for its food. But that does not make Italians immune from eating disorders. And they are not taking that lightly. In fact, they are mounting a full scale attack.
According to news sources, Italian authorities are mounting a $1.5 million campaign against a growing epidemic of anorexia and other eating disorders in a country known for its fashion industry and image consciousness.
The Italian Ministries of Health and Sports are aiming the project at schools and the media, providing guidelines for magazines, television, radio and Internet sites to discourage ultra-thin beauty ideals.
“Anorexia and bulimia have been for many years diseases that have not been recognized as such. It was sort of a veil of unspoken and unrecognized problems,” said Giovanna Melandri, minister for young people and sports.
