February 5th, 2010 admin

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Cryo-Cell International. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you been looking for a way to help out with the devastation that is going on in Haiti right now but do not know where to start really? Well, if that is the case why not take some steps to help out in Haiti through your purchase at Cryo-Cell. In case you did not know, all through the month of February the people at Cryo-Cell are going to donate $25 from each enrollment that they have on their website to the “Save the Children: Haiti Relief Fund” to help out those that in need over in Haiti. If you are interested in helping out in this manner then go on and enroll now to get started today. Just so you know, they are the only cord blood bank, as of now that is, that will be contributing a portion of each of their sales to the Save the Children: Haiti Relief Fund. If that does not make you feel better about your purchase with them then I do not know what will! You see, storing cord blood could result in saving lives down the road when the research is there. This type of stem cell research is what Cryo-Cell is all about. They are helping people now in Haiti and people in the future too. Why not head to their website to learn more about them and stem cell research?

Macy’s parade lineup

November 17th, 2009 admin

Well, it’s that time of year. Thanksgiving will be here before you know it. And that means one thing to me. The Macy’s Turkey Day parade! I love watching it each year. I recently found the Macy’s parade lineup online too. I’m kinda shocked that Katharine McPhee is in it this year. I wonder why? I am pretty stoked about Cyndi Lauper though! sweet! And Gloria Gaynor! Woo hoo for disco in the parade!

Radisson Hotel FAIL

October 25th, 2009 admin

Booked a room at a Radisson hotel for tonight. My special requests were a non-smoking room and foam pillows. Drove through a torrential downpour to get to the hotel. Only kept driving cause I had pre-paid for the room. Upon arrival I was told that they only had smoking rooms available. Major FAIL for Radisson. And of course they do not have a money back guarantee. NO MORE RADISSON HOTELS! EVER!

cancer associated with Asbestos exposure

May 21st, 2009 admin

If you are like me then you grew up hearing about how bad asbestos was for you and what not. If course, that was not always the case. In fact, there was a time when people regularly went to work in places where they were exposed to asbestos on a daily basis. We are talking about workers as well as families that were getting exposed to asbestos. All of this while not knowing that it was bad for you. And now it turns out that asbestos exposure is linked to a very bad type of cancer - Mesothelioma. Of course, all types of cancer are bad but this one is particularly bad. And since people were misled about the safety of the asbestos exposure anyone that has gotten this super bad type of cancer may actually be entitled to some compensation as a result. You will need to get hooked up with a Mesothelioma Lawyer so that you can see if you will qualify for the compensation. Of course, that will not cure the cancer that you have gotten as a result of the asbestos exposure but it will help with the hospital bills that your family will have to deal with.

Want to move overseas?

December 30th, 2008 admin

Do you wish you could move overseas and work and live abroad? I certainly know that I do! But moving to another country is not as easy as it appears. I would love to be able to move to a new country and start a business but you typically need to have a lot of cash to do that. However a lot of countries have immigration programs that make it a bit easier for professionals and skilled tradespeople to move abroad. Interested in working abroad? Here are a few tips I found.

Australia and Canada allows entry for both professionals and skilled tradespeople.  Probably at the moment it is easier to gain entry to Australia than to Canada, the UK or the US.  Historically Australia has been an attractive destination Country for people from the UK.  In recent years there has been an increase in immigration to Australia from Asian Countries.  The UK and Canada also have very successful skilled migration programmes.  A migrant who eventually gains British citizenship can then work freely throughout the EU.   If you have a job offer then it may be possible to gain entry to the US.
