Ever been to the DR? I have not. But I keep seeing it on travel shows. And apparently it is a good place to buy vacation homes. There are some really cheap, really nice places there too. If you’ve been there, let us know how it is!

Interested in the entertainment industry? Want to know what is going on in regards to women? Me too! I actually found a Facebook group titled “Women & Hollywood” about this sort of thing. It’s news and commentary about women and Hollywood. I suggest doing a search for it if you get a chance. And be a fan of it like me.

Apparently anxiety levels may help elderly women live longer. Yet the same is not true for men.
Some findings:
A team at the Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University followed 1,000 seniors in three Florida retirement communities for up to 15 years.
They found that women with higher levels of anxiety at the start of the study lived longer than others. Year-to-year changes in anxiety levels didn’t appear to affect women’s survival, either.
In contrast to women, men with higher anxiety levels at the start of the study were more likely to die earlier, the researchers said.
