I was looking at the Technorati State of the Blogosphere the other day. I was struck by the gender breakdown for blogging. Looks like men dominate blogging. Only 34% of bloggers are female! What is up with that?
I’ve been trying to file for unemployment. I have to do it over the phone. Why? Because I worked out of state in the past 18 months. Getting through is impossible. I am just hoping I can get through this week. Very frustrating.
Well, tomorrow is my last day of work. I think I am going out to lunch with my coworkers. It will be nice though to not have to drive in rush hour traffic anymore. And to be able to sleep in when I want to. Looking for a new job will be no fun though! If I can find one at all 
One more week of work left. The bright side is that I will be able to get unemployment benefits. Granted those weekly checks will be tiny. And they will not even cover the rent. So that part is kind of a bummer.
Well, next week was originally supposed to be my last week. But I have gotten confirmation of one extra week. That means another full paycheck! Booyah! Sucks though to loose a paycheck like that.
Well, I am still going to be unemployed next month. But I just got word that it might be a week later than they thought. That is good news. Because that means one more paycheck before crappy unemployment. At least that is some kinda good news.
Well, I knew it was going to happen. Granted, I thought it wasn’t goint to happen until August. See, I work through a staffing agency. And I was hired for an assignment that is supposed to go until the end of August. But I just got word it is ending early. As in next month early. Eek!
